We provide a wide range of services for Equipment Dealers, Manufacturers, Municipalities, Organizations, Private Haulers and Public Haulers in the solid waste industry.  Our services include courses on maintenance, operational, OSHA, and orientation as related to our industry.  Purchase courses individually, in groups by position, or annual subscriptions.  Employees are able to choose additional individual courses to improve their abilities.  Most of our experience has been on your side of the business, sitting in your chair.  We speak your language...  We understand the industry’s needs!  In the past, videos and handouts were the only tools to compliment hands-on training.  We now have an array of training tools, including webinars and online training.  Let’s take a look at each one.  VIDEOS The focus on videos has moved to group presentations and supporting roles in Webinars and Online Training.  Video cost have moved upward while Webinars and Online Training cost are decreasing.  Videos are a wonderful medium for advertising and to incorporate within a training course.  When it is time to update a video, it’s usually best to create a whole new video when comparing cost.  The WIT LMS system is able to maintain your video library online.  We have also partnered with a video production company in order to fulfill the needs of our customers.  WEBINARS This medium is an ideal way to introduce a new procedure or requirement and on-going training for groups.  It’s a wonderful medium for weekly or monthly safety, production, or operational meetings.  The WIT LMS system has a calendar for your employees to view upcoming webinars (live and recorded) delivered by your company or WIT along with easy enrollment.  We track attendance and maintain these records for your reporting requirements.  ONLINE TRAINING Currently, this is the fastest growing training method for on-boarding.  It’s ideal for the new hire or the employee that missed the webinar.  Training can be documented which reduces liabilities or misunderstandings. Online training provides consistent training and works in conjunction with hands-on training.  Once your new hire successfully completes their online training, a supervisor would start the hands-on training to reinforce your company’s procedures.  HANDS-ON TRAINING By far the best way to train, hands-on is the final step in the on-boarding process.  The online training gives a new hire the exact information a company wants them to have while the hands-on is the personal touch to reinforce this philosophy.  After an employee has had the prescribed hands-on training, a final test would be given by your supervisor.  The supervisor would grade the new hire while the employee performs certain predefined task relating to their job position.  These results can be input into the WIT system by the supervisor to complete the on-boarding process.  COURSE DEVELOPMENT WIT develops custom courses branded with your company’s look and feel.  For a manufacturer, these courses are hosted on our LMS for access by your customers and ours.  Custom courses for a solid waste hauler or municipality would be hosted on our LMS for access by your employees only, unless it’s a course for your customers.   It’s a one stop shopping for the end user.  LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS) We have a state of the art LMS to custom fit the needs of any HR department.  Manage, track, and report all your employees’ learning activities, online trianing or hands-on.
